Social and political context

 the big issue is apolitical, supports no political party and will challenge any politics.  they help socially by offering those in poverty a hand up to start a micro business 

   

we see representation through how the lioness in the first one isnt represented as glamorous, but it talks about her rags to riches story with a very monotone image of her 

in the 2nd and 3rd it is people in wheelchairs, these people are often not shown in the media, 2nd is talking about a hidden housing crisis and the next it how she wants more people to in wheelchairs to be shown on television

we see representations of people who arent famous, but ordinary people who people can possibly relate to
